Most recently president of the Knoxville News Sentinel, Frank was recruited to oversee the digital transition of the paper. During his tenure at KNS, he successfully created an environment that nurtured both professional and personal growth during a challenging time in the evolution of the newspaper industry. Frank is an innovative, empathy-based servant leader with 25+ years of experience launching, building and managing business and sales operations in Top 10, mid-size and small markets. He has a proven track record of creating culture changes that allow for the recruitment and retention of high-achieving sales professionals and support staff, and has spent the better part of the past 15 years with a specific focus on digital sales and marketing as well as new market development. Frank has served on a number of local boards including the Knoxville Opera, the BBB and the Empty Stocking Fund.
Steve established Sandler Training Knoxville in 1996 and has since helped thousands of individuals and companies not only significantly grow revenue but also increase profitability as well as employee and client satisfaction. A former corporate EVP of sales and marketing with a bachelor’s in industrial engineering and an MBA, he brings a wealth of experience to his training sessions with companies of all sizes - from Fortune 100 to small businesses - including Scripps Networks Interactive, East Tennessee Prosthodontics, Viacom, Functional Pathways and StoneMill Log & Timber Homes. Steve remains a certified bronze and silver certified Sandler trainer, having received the Ruby Award in 2017, Diamond Award in November 2015 and Gold Award in 2016, and is past president of the Franchisee Advisory Council Executive Committee representing all Sandler franchisees.

Sandler Sales came highly recommended from friends, business associates, and third party sources. Despite the recommendations I was very skeptical about joining due to the serious time and financial commitment. It is impossible to quantify the benefits of a non tangible product and I do not know all of the variables that contribute to an increase in sales from one year to another.
